Location
Opposite the beach of Marina di Castagneto Carducci, in the province of Livorno, rises the Tombolo Talasso Resort, surrounded by a secular park of pine trees. The beach is a few steps from the Resort, and is characterized by the "tomboli", sand dunes typical of the area. A few steps from the Resort there is the beautiful medieval town of Castagneto Carducci.
PLEASE NOTE: due to the Covid-19 prevention guidelines, for the 2020 season the Tombolo Talasso Resort will not offer the Miniclub service for children.
Hotel
The Hotel is an elegant structure, born from the careful restoration of a residence of the 30s, which has respected the original architecture. The environment, elegant and informal, reflects the philosophy of Tombolo Talasso Resort, in a clever combination of past and contemporary, which tends to the future and never forgets or underestimates the past.
Rooms
117 rooms including Classic, Superior, Junior Suites and Suites, all different from each other, are distributed along the 4 wings of the building. With sea view, lateral sea view or park view, they have a very original decor with pastel colours, with a meticulous attention to detail to impress and pamper the guests who choose the Tombolo Talasso Resort. The rooms are equipped with the modern amenities including television with satellite channels and air conditioning.
Beach
The private beach, about 200 meters long, is just in front of the resort. At the Tombolo Beach guests will have at their disposal (during the summer season) sun umbrellas, deckchairs and beach towels, included in the price of their stay. There is also a restaurant/bar on the beach (for a fee).
Wellness Centre
The spa is without a doubt the strong point of Tombolo Talasso Resort. The Thalasso-therapy Centre offers several types of personalized treatments, combining the knowledge of the Eastern methodology with the most updates techniques of today. The centre is also a SPA, and offers a range of treatments that use pure and uncontaminated water taken at 900 meters from the coast: massages, whirlpools, showers as well as beauty treatments. Children from 3 years on have access from 9h00 to 11h00, only accompanied by an adult.
Special Thalasso: 2 hours of free Thalasso Path per person per day (on reservation at the spa). Free access to the sauna, Turkish bath, Roman bath and relaxation room (entrances are regulated by the reception of the Wellness Centre).
Restaurant
The cuisine of the restaurant "Corallo" proposes dishes of the traditional Tuscan and international cuisine, prepared with natural ingredients carefully selected by the chef, chosen among the best local products. You will be able to choose the best wine to accompany the meal among a selection of wines that counts more than 300 labels. The lunch buffet is served during the summer on the rooftop terrace.
Services & Activities
The outdoor pools with sea water, one for adults and one for children, are at guest's disposal. Various activities are available near the Tombolo Talasso SPA Resort, such as the "Aquapark", the "Park of the Tarot" (Parco dei Tarocchi) and "Magiré the magical world of the Crazy little Horse", which attracts children from all over Tuscany with its attractions and entertainment. Nearby, guests can practice several sport activirìties: tennis, football, water sports, scuba diving and horseback riding. Free yoga lessons from mid-May to mid-September, medical wellness for women's well-being and aesthetic medicine.
Tourism Tax – the municipality requires the payment of a tourist tax to be paid on spot.
