Porto Giardino Resort

Location

The Porto Giardino resort is located on the Adriatic coast of Apulia, in Capitolo-Monopoli, and is just 50 metres from the sea. The centre of Monopoli is 7 km away, Polignano a Mare 8.5 km and the nearest airport is Bari, about 50 km away. Points of interest easy to reach by car: Savelletri, Fasano, the Castellana Caves and Alberobello within about 20 km or the historic centre of Ostuni, Martina Franca and Bari within about 40 km.

Hotel

Surrounded by 20 hectares of pine forest, the Porto Giardino village is built around a central body housing rooms and the main services, offering guests a range of accommodation options: half board, full board or All Inclusive. The resort features two swimming pools, four restaurants, including one themed restaurant, and two bars, as well as numerous sports fields and a wellness centre. Daytime and evening entertainment, enhanced by an artistic cast and the lively Nello Land for the little ones, makes Porto Giardino the ideal place for a family holiday, where every moment is designed for fun and relaxation thanks to the convenient All Inclusive formula.

Rooms

The Porto Giardino rooms offer tailor-made solutions for every need, with cosy spaces and details designed for maximum comfort. The Family Rooms, ideal for large families, have independent access, a double room with patio or balcony, living room with double sofa bed and double bedroom (with the possibility of adding a 5th bed on request, reducing space). Also available in an accessible version for guests with disabilities (up to 4 persons). The Comfort rooms, located in the main building with access from the hall, are the perfect choice for couples, thanks to the single, cosy room with no patio or balcony. For an exclusive stay, the Trullo a Tre Coni offers a unique experience: an independent residence with three cones, living room, bedroom and bathroom, enriched with premium details such as a minibar with first supply, bathrobes, daily tidying up, fruit basket and prosecco on arrival, as well as exclusive benefits such as a guaranteed beach umbrella and priority booking at the Pugliese restaurant.

Beach

Approximately 50 metres from the hotel entrance, guests can enjoy a charming cove, which can be booked at the reception for the morning or afternoon, subject to availability (1 sun umbrella and 2 sun beds per room). In addition, it is possible to access a partnered sandy lido located about 2 km away in Capitolo. Again, reservations must be made at the hotel reception, with the service to be paid directly at the lido (1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds per room).

Wellness Centre

The Porto Giardino SPA is a modern wellness centre with a whirlpool bath with cervical cascades, Finnish sauna, Scottish shower, Turkish bath, chromotherapy circuit, and relax area with herbal tea. Massages and treatments are available on request.
From 28/05 to 16/09, included in the All Inclusive formula: 1 wellness treatment per week (on request and subject to availability).

Sport

All guests have free access to the resort's sports fields during the day: a multi-purpose tennis/volleyball/basketball court, two tennis courts, a five-a-side football pitch, bowling, archery and mini-golf.
Use of the courts at night is available at an extra charge.

Families

The Porto Giardino in Capitolo is undoubtedly the ideal place for a family vacation.
There are rooms that can accommodate up to 5 people and the entertainment activities are designed for guests of all ages. For younger guests, there is a dedicated children's pool and the Nello Land playground with a small theater and arena for shows and screenings. From 25/06 to 03/09, the mini-club runs nonstop from 09:30 to 18:00, lunch with animators included, and then starts again from 19:30 to 22:00 for dinner with a dedicated menu and the baby dance.
Also available to parents a room with baby-feeding baby facilities and strollers (upon availability, deposit € 20.00).

Restaurant

From 28/05 to 17/09, at Porto Giardino the holiday is all inclusive, while in low season it is possible to book half board or full board.
The All Inclusive treatment includes a welcome drink, breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet with drinks included (water, wine, beer and soft drinks). During the week, theme evenings and a typical Apulian dinner are held in the central restaurant rooms. Also included in the treatment is a light breakfast at the bar, available from 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., cafeteria, soft drinks, a selection of italian spirits and spirits, snacks and aperitifs. All Inclusive does not include: water and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks served in bottles or cans, ice cream and other packaged products.
Until 27/05 and from 17/09 you can book a room with full board or half board including drinks at lunch and/or dinner, welcome drink. During this period, the buffet service may be replaced by a three-course menu with table service. Upon reservation and without extra charge, it is possible to use the restaurants in the pool area: Il Pugliese, open only for dinner, where you can taste traditional regional dishes, and the restaurant-pizzeria Il Vegetariano, open only for lunch, to experience vegetarian cuisine and specialities such as Bari focaccia and pizza baked in a wood-fired oven.
The Porto Giardino provides gluten-free products for guests with celiac disease and gluten intolerance: bread, pasta, biscuits and desserts at dinner.

Services & Activities

Among the services offered by the Porto Giardino we have: unattended private parking inside the hotel, free Wi-Fi internet, evening piano bar, three swimming pools equipped with parasols and sun loungers, one of which is for children and one with a sea view, three restaurants, baby nursery, three bars, unattended private parking inside the hotel, sports facilities. In the high season, twice a week, disco night (extra charge).

Services available at an extra cost: organisation of transfers and excursions, car and bike hire, laundry, medical clinic (on call), use of sports fields at night and minibar in the room.
The hotel also offers a conference centre consisting of seven halls with a capacity of 1,200 people in the auditorium.
The elegant wellness centre is equipped with a whirlpool with cervical cascades, Finnish sauna, Scottish shower, Turkish bath, chromotherapy path, and relaxation area with herbal tea corner (one wellness path per week per person included for stays of 7 nights or more).
Massages and treatments are also available for a fee.

Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
