LOCATION

The Calaserena Village is a 4-star hotel resort c, on the beautiful beach of Geremeas, between Cagliari and Villasimius, from which it is separated only by a wood of poplars, eucalyptus and tamarisk trees that you can cross by a pleasant shady path. Cagliari Airport is about 40 km away.

Hotel

The Calaserena Resort, after a thorough restyling in 2023, has welcomed guests with a new design for the lobby, bars and restaurants, with new comforts and a typically Sardinian style charm. From summer 2024, the Calaserena Resort will have renovated rooms, including brand new 32 to 35 sqm suites with a sleeping area and comfortable living area, a new restaurant reserved for suite guests, and a new fitness area and SPA.

Rooms

The hotel has 317 rooms on two and three floors, on average around 450 metres from the sea, divided into Classic, Superior, Premium and the brand new Suites. Interconnecting rooms and rooms for disabled guests are also available.

Classic rooms

They are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge, safe, bathroom. Available Classic on the ground floor without garden, Classic Garden with garden, Classic on the 1st floor without balcony and Classic Balcony on the 1st or 2nd floor with balcony.

Superior Rooms

They are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge, safe, bathroom. Superior Garden with garden available.

Superior Quadruple Rooms

They are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge, safe, bathroom.

Premium Balcony Rooms

Rooms for 2 guests, in the most central area of the resort, located on the first or second floor with a small balcony. They also have a kettle with tea and herbal teas, espresso machine, open mini bar (water, 2 soft drinks and beer), rental of one beach towel per person (from 3 years) with daily change.

Premium Quadruple Garden Rooms

Centrally located rooms, all on the ground floor with garden. They also have a kettle with tea and herbal tea, espresso machine, open mini bar (water, 2 soft drinks and beer), hire of a beach towel per person (from 3 years old) with daily change.

Suites

They have two rooms: sleeping area with double bed and living area with double sofa bed or double chaise-longue. They also have a kettle with tea and herbal teas, espresso machine, open mini bar (water, 2 soft drinks and beer), TV with Sky, one beach towel per person (from 3 years old) with daily change. Also available are the Garden Suite with garden and the Balcony Suite on the first floor with terrace. Suite guests have their own restaurant, the New Gusto.

Dog Room

Classic Dog Room, on the ground floor with enclosed garden, where small dogs of up to 10 kg are allowed, are available on request. The garden is equipped with a kennel and bowl. Limited availability, to be booked.

Beach
Calaserena Village is located directly on the crystal-clear sea of Geremeas beach.

The wide sandy beach, gently sloping and therefore particularly suitable for children, is equipped with parasols and sun loungers, changing rooms and showers, a bar, and an information and service point.

Each room is allocated a free place on the beach, which includes a sun umbrella and two sun beds from the fourth row.

Guests can make use of the sailing boats and windsurfs (except during course times), canoes, paddle surfing and beach volleyball and beach tennis courts and the services of Bluserena SeaSport (some for a fee) and the diving centre inside the resort (for a fee). 

Pools

There are pools for families, one with waterslides, a swimming pool, and a pool reserved for the Mini Club.

Wellness Area

Is the area dedicated to those who on holiday wish to treat themselves to a break dedicated to relaxation and wellness. The resort offers facial and body treatments, relaxing, sports and holistic massages, and customised wellness programmes (services available from Monday to Sunday for a fee). At the Calaserena Resort, new in 2024, there is a new fitness area and new SPA (paid service).

Sport

For fitness lovers, in addition to the modern fitness area with the assistance of qualified instructors at scheduled times, equipped with isotonic machines, dumbbells, walking mats, spinning bikes, balance boards, strength development ropes and group gymnastics, there are many other activities: Yoga, Zumba, Tai chi Stretch (new 2024), a whole new muscular awakening, with a holistic approach to wellness; Acquagym, Nordic Walking, Latin fitness (new 2024), dance and aerobic gymnastics come together in an intense experience to the rhythm of hip-hop, samba and salsa; jump fitness, the trampoline that helps you burn calories to the rhythm of music. Also available are:

Services for Children

At Calaserena Village there are a thousand and more services and spaces that are safe and tailor-made for children, with the security of specialised animators who will accompany them in games and creative, educational and sporting activities.

All services are provided by dividing children and young people into age groups:

• Baby Daycare: 12 - 36 months
• Serenino Club: 3 - 5 years
• SereninoPiù Club: 6 - 10 years
• SerenUp: 11 - 14 years
• SerenHappy: 14 - 17 years

Families can enjoy a large swimming pool with slides, a large children's park with giant games, springs, swings, slides and more. In the forest, children can enjoy watching the animals in the mini farm and have fun in the mini riding school with ponies. 

Serenino Family Open Day - new 2024

An event for all children and their families, with games, fun, workshops, and finally everyone at the Serenino: with events open to all, children can continue to play with the entertainers and with mum and dad, with music, circus performers, our Serenella the friends from Wonderland and the characters from the dream team. During the Family Open Day, all children in the resort, even the youngest ones, will have access.

The Blu Baby Park is a tailor-made playground for children from 0 to 6 years old, to play in complete freedom and safety. Children, accompanied by their parents, can play on slides, castles and swings, race on pedal karts on a real track and much more.

Serenino Club for children aged 3 to 5 and SereninoPiù Club for children aged 6 to 10. Children aged 10 can choose to join either the SereninoPiù Club or the SerenUp. The SereninoPiù Club offers numerous sports activities (football academy, dance, swimming, rhythmic gymnastics). 

For 10 to 14 year olds, Calaserena offers Serenup (14 year olds can choose between Serenup and Serenhappy) and 14 to 17 year olds Serenhappy where they will be involved in games, sports activities, theatre, shows and more.

Serenup and Serenhappy are open daily, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., except Sundays, from 03/06 to 07/09/2024.

The fun continues in the Evening Serenade. The whole family can also enjoy circus disciplines. Together they can learn, while having fun, the basics of juggling, balancing and clowning. The service is available from 03/06 to 07/09.

Baby Day Care: The nursery area is air-conditioned and cosy, and offers a real programme of games and activities tailored to the little ones. The animators will be playmates and will prepare snacks and snacks for the babies, provide nappy changes and naps. Parents will be provided with bottles, bibs, dummies, nappies, non-slip socks and sunscreen. Parents can participate in some of their children's activities
The service is available, for a fee, every day except Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. from 15.07 to 07.09.2024.

Upon arrival, it is compulsory to show proof of identity for all members of the reservation, including minors of any age. Failing this, the hotel will apply the discount for the higher age group.

New in 2024: Sunset Vibes, the party for young people at aperitif time. A way to dive with elegance and style into an irresistible mix of fashion and fun, with the dream team entertainers and lots of good music, and Serenino Family Open Day, an event for all the kids, for mum and dad, with games, fun, workshops and finally everyone at the Serenino with music, circus and Serenella.

Restaurants
The Calaserena resort offers rich, varied and quality catering.  In the resort there is the central restaurant Il Patio, with air-conditioned rooms and a shaded outdoor area in the garden or terrace, free of charge and bookable upon confirmation. The Calaserena Resort also offers a choice of themed restaurants other than the central one, subject to availability, all free of charge, open from 10/06 to 8/9 at least 6 days a week, for lunch or dinner, bookable the day before. Besides Il Patio, we have the gourmet restaurant Il Gusto (table service), Le Onde restaurant (buffet) and, New 2024, La Brezza restaurant (reserved for Suite Guests).

At the Calaserena Resort, you can also book the Sea Box for lunch, subject to availability, to be eaten on the beach.

With the Pensione Più treatment you are entitled, for each restaurant, to one access per week, with the All Inclusive at the Calaserena Resort to two accesses per week; booking the Formula Jolly unlimited accesses.

Reservations for the Sea Box and other resort restaurants must be made for the entire room and not for individual members. In the event of adverse weather conditions, guests will move from the Patio and themed restaurants to the central restaurant from 13.45 for lunch and from 20.45 for dinner. On the day of arrival, lunch and dinner will be served in one of the resort restaurants (at Bluserena's discretion), not necessarily in the central restaurant.

The Calaserena Resort has two bars, one in the piazzetta and one on the beach.

PENSIONE PIU', Bluserena's Full Board includes:

Central restaurant: buffet breakfast with non-express coffee (from dispensers or automatic dispensers with coffee beans), buffet lunch and dinner with show cooking, draught wine and microfiltered water included with meals. 

Also includes reserved lunch for Mini Club children and Teen Club and Young Club children from 3/6 to 7/9.

In the bars, microfiltered water.

ALL INCLUSIVE

In addition to the services provided by Pensione Più, it includes:

Main bar: cafeteria; two appointments a day with sweet and savoury snacks; soft drinks and draught beer, fruit juices; syrups, slushies; wide selection of national and international spirits and spirits, aperitifs; selection of cocktails at the central bar.
Central restaurant bar: at breakfast, cafeteria; at lunch and dinner, orangeade, coca cola and draught beer.
Other bars: cafeteria; orangeade, coke and draught beer; selection of bitters and wines.
Other restaurants in the Resort: choice of theme restaurants other than the central restaurant, subject to availability, with the exception of the New Gusto restaurant, reserved for guests staying in Suites. In All Inclusive you are entitled to two accesses per week for each restaurant, with the Jolly Formula to unlimited accesses.

JOLLY FORMULA

Entitles you to unlimited access to the resort's themed restaurants, subject to reservation during your stay. The formula is available from 10/6 to 8/9 and subject to limited availability.

Baby Kitchen Dedicated to parents (with tables, chairs and highchairs) for baby food for children 0-3 years old, with assistance and availability of basic products during main meal times: vegetable and meat broths, vegetable puree, pastries, meat slices, fish fillets, cooked ham, dairy products, fresh fruit, fresh milk, soya milk, rice milk, lactose-free milk, yoghurt, jams, tea and camomile tea, biscuits. Homogenised baby food, cheese and milk for infants, both liquid and powdered, are not available. It will also be possible to heat milk and baby food, sterilise, blend, homogenise. It is accessible from 06:00 to 00:00, during closing times you can contact the reception desk.

Food intolerances

Bluserena pays special attention to the well-being of guests both in the offer and in the correct information on allergens for each dish offered. Due to the size and organisation of the kitchens, it is not possible to offer customisation of dishes to suit individual allergies, but in all central restaurants a basic assortment of gluten-free, lactose-free and egg-free food is guaranteed (although it must be emphasised that it is not possible to guarantee, due to the structural characteristics of the kitchens, the absolute absence of contamination for any type of intolerance, except for packaged products).

Medical Assistance

Doctor resident in the resort and on call 24 hours a day. Medical office open at fixed times, mornings and afternoons, with free examinations. Visits are chargeable at other times and outside the medical office.

Services for Disabled people

Calaserena Village is barrier-free. Rooms for the disabled are available and a Job chair is available on the beach, specifically for bathing in the sea. Wheelchairs can be hired on request. Individual wheelchairs are not available.

Club Card

The club card is compulsory from the age of 3 and entitles the holder to the following services: use of sports fields and equipment, beach services, participation in tournaments and group lessons, Serenino, SereninoPiù Club, SerenUp and Serenhappy services.

Paid Services

Serenino BabyDayCare (booking required), individual lessons in the sports on offer, horse riding, mini riding school, "Bluwellness Club", sun loungers on the beach, parasols and palm trees in the front rows, beach towel hire, all excursions including those of the diving centre, dive centre services, car and pram hire, transfers, use of safety deposit boxes available at reception, internet point, medical assistance.

Animals

Small dogs are allowed (maximum 10 kg). They will be accommodated in the garden of the Classic room, equipped with a kennel and bowls for food and water. Dogs are only allowed in the resort in reserved areas and on dedicated routes (e.g. not on the beach, restaurant, amphitheatre and piazzetta), on a leash. There is no provision of food for the dog. Dogs may only be accepted if accompanied by a health certificate. The number of places is limited and no other animals or dogs are allowed. Guests staying with their dog will be required to comply with the regulations sent with the booking confirmation.

Room and Parasol Delivery and Release

The structure allows you to start your stay with lunch or dinner: if you start your stay with dinner, lunch on the day of departure will be included in the price (replaceable on request with a packed lunch); if you start with lunch, on the other hand, your stay ends with breakfast (to be reported at the time of booking). On the day of arrival you will have lunch and dinner in one of the resort restaurants (at Bluserena's discretion), not necessarily in the central restaurant.

Delivery of rooms and umbrellas on arrival is scheduled for 4.00 pm. Early delivery is not guaranteed for those who start their stay with lunch. Rooms and umbrellas must be returned by 10.00 a.m.

It is possible to book Late Check Out (for a fee) which allows you to use your room and umbrella until 2.15 p.m. on the day of departure. The service must be requested within two days of departure.

On arrival and departure days, changing rooms with showers and unattended luggage storage are available in the lobby area.
